I had already tried that I'm afraid, when i go to the maintenance option, it doesn't let you actually install another copy. I've done it several times and it just replaces the main components of EQ....

I've tried reinstalling a bunch of times with no luck, and In my post i said i tried Eqwindows/playnice which i guess i should have been more specific, I'm using WinEQ2 that incorporates eq play nice...

could you not have a server specific patcher that...

could you not have a server specific patcher that just replaces the *.mp3 with what ever you wanted played titled as the old file? Just seems like a quick fix for folks that wanted it.
