on the server select.(port 5998)
I play on PEQ The Grand Creation as I am a noob to all this too and dont know anything...

We use the .dxf format..There is an option to export .3ds but I dont think its...

I agree..Dont quit yet..It didnt take me long to get mine working even though I patched to live by mistake..I could have thrown up my hands in disgust but I kept at it..Now everything works perfect!

When you create a shortcut on your desktop from eqgame.exe you must then right click on the shortcut. Select properties. And where it says target you must add the word patchme after the quotes.

Are you running Win98 or Win98se? If so I think the black screen is a common problem. I tried that last week and had a black screen..I noticed in the most recent patch that SOE mentioned an issue...

Sorry to hear that..All I can say is its possible to copy/paste a folder to another directory..You could try to restore if you have Win XP. Back to a date when you know it was...

All I can say is use system restore..You must have patched somehow..But dont expect system restore to work 100%.
I used it and my Merchant windows are unusable.
