start a non-offensive song (ie selos or invis) and then target a monster that is out of melee range. the song will say interrupted as long as the monster is targetted, and as soon as you untarget it...

only change needed was to makefilefreebsd in world and zone. Additionally, the measures committed to stop the dyasync problem weren't enough, so added ../common/dbasync.o to the dependency list.

eqemu compiles out of the box on freebsd on 0.4.1 .. some more stuff got changed between 0.4.1 and 0.4.2, and again between 0.4.3, so the compile is crapping out.
