in windows XP, typing cd program files will work just like using the good ol' cd progra~1. Full folder names can now be used in place of the old DOS 8.3 compatible ones.

There are a few alterations that need to be made to your DB if you are upgrading from 4.1. Resource with the 4.2 db.sql and that should fix the npc_types error.

First, download the EQAdmin 3.4 tool from the the main EQemu page. Also, try getting the EQemu patcher from the same location. It can help solve a lot of problems.
