I just assumed that it was necessary for those programs, but I suppose it doesn't really matter either way. I'm just gonna try a complete wipe of all Emu/SQL related material and hopefully that will...

The admin tool wasn't able to connect to database "eq" at host 127.0.0.1.

EQEmu Admin still fails to connect to the database?? What the hell is going on?

I'm going to try the same grant command as above but with sql.* as well, to see if that helps

Ah, yeah I did misspell privileges, but only on the forum, that wasn't the reason for the syntax error. Thanks anyways, Derision.

Grant command

I have attempted to run the grant line many a time, but to no avail. Is there some setting that I must reset before I am able to successfully grant myself the privilages to use my database?

Issues when connecting to database?

I attempted to use the following programs to view/edit my sql database, and none of them were able to connect to my database...

EQEmu Admin
Magoo's Item Editor
SQL Front

Clearing MySQL...

For some reason or another MySQL is fuxxored on my machine. It won't let me create new databases or edit existing ones. I can't give myself the privilages to do so, because MySQL isn't recognizing...

I forgot to ask about skill caps... In the SQLAdmin GUI, I can edit at what level classes get skills, but not skill caps...

Any help here? Also, are there any skills that just don't work yet with...
