i had the same prob recently, it usually happens...

i had the same prob recently, it usually happens if you run eqgame.exe thru the patchme method (well not often but sometimes) and I cant think of a way to stop it, the 1017 may be from MANY reasons....

i can get on my server, set myself as a SysOp, I can spawn NPC's, the world itself IS SPAWNED, but the only thing missing is items...It must be somthing with the items db that is screwing up

Well I think a loooong time ago I had MySQL (not sure) but I downloaded the newest version yesterday to start up me own server and well when I run WinMySQLAdmin...it doesnt ask for a username/pw....
