I would think 400mhz is more than enough to get a few people running ok, so long as you aren't running EQ from the same computer. On my 3.2ghz PC, i've had max 8 people connected at the same time...

I spoke with a few people and while its possible to READ .wld files, its not *yet* possible to WRITE .wld files that EQ accepts as a valid format. So for now, its a no go. But i'll keep looking...

Would it be possible to compile EQemu for OSX and run it on that? I'm not a programmer, but I looked through some of the eqemu code, and I see a lot of calls to windows stuff (Winsock for example)...
