fear, darkness

Had a player on my server complain that fear didn't send mobs running and his darkness series didn't slow mobs down. Are these spells supposed to be working?

I've noticed that when purchasing items in my world(using 4.4dr1 with drawdes mob/item databases) the cost deducted from my character is 1/5 - 1/10 the price actually listed.

Where do I go to fix...

another way

Personally I just set the DMZ to the ip of the hosting computer. It is less secure but the only thing on that computer is EQEMU and the suporting stuff.

Items that cast spells not working correctly

Hi There, I've made some items that cast spells. When summoned they work correctly however, when put in the loot table and dropped by a mob they only work until I zone.

Any ideas? I've tried both...

Note that I said the *minimum* max damage is 2*dam +1. i.e. I can pick up a dagger with 1...

The kick bash and melee formulas are incorrect. I don't remember them off hand but I do know the minimum max damage a weapon can do is 2*dam + 1.

To be honest I don't think you even need eq installed to host a server. You need some files but those can be copied wrong.

I happen to have it installed so I could be wrong.

Doesn't seem reasonable

I can't see how privacy is important when you play and it seems that a number of servers are virtually empty most of the time. Still good luck.
