Was quest getting an update?

I'm almost ready to start adding quests to my new database but think I read somewhere that the quest engine was about to be updated? I was just wondering if this is correct so I don't go too far...

I've just reinstalled eqemu after some time away and i'm having trouble getting a blank database setup again.

I am using Minilogin and am absolutely positive I have setup the .ini files correctly....
