switching from 5.7DR6 to 5.9DR2

is there a major difference in database tables..

i want to switch from the 5.7dr4 to 5.9dr2 but keep my same database i am using.. i really dont want to wipe my world.. so how much difference are...

1. thier server is running slowly or lagged up..
2. your connection to the net is bad..

my suggestion is.. just restart pc...
