ok that drawdes zip you downloaded . . . extract all that into your mysql\bin directory, then open mysql, type use eqdatabasename; then source database.sql and it should load up all the information...

DDRAW AND SIMILAR PROBLEM SOLUTION!

You are missing the d3d8 file . . . simply reinstalling the latest version of Dirext X SHOULD fix the problem. if not go do www.drivers.com and download d3d8.dll and put it in C:\Windows
