127.0.0.1 does actually works, but i want everyone else to be able to log on my server, and also me to be able to log on my server (without no friggin 1017!)

ok tried everything i havent tried before, i tried dl eq admin db tool and remove account, then add account, still doesnt work.

All other server works fine, but my own server 1017!

I got everything right, i followed readme instruction, database added with db.sql, finding ip, edit login.ini, db.ini, boot5zones, and all that stuff... my world is up on list, i can log in everyone...

2) INSERT INTO account SET name='account',password='yourpass',status=200

now new problem, i type in command.

cd c:\eqemu
world.exe flag (forum account) 200

Hi, im mysql newb, how do i delete database and start over?

ok i got confused between using db.sql and other sql mixed together, and its stuck in eq db, how do i delete eq db ? ... i been trying many different command for mysql.exe (i dont know any command!)...

You say running local server works for windowXP? My winXP firewall is OFF, unchecked. BUT it still doesnt work 4 lyfe. I left out mysql and all other rotting in computer, planning to delete if 1017...

but it created "create" file.. im guessing mysql downloaded was corrupted or something, redownloading new one.

ummm where is "Create Database" on mysql?

4. Now from "Winmysqladmin.exe" select the Database tab and right click the area for Databases and click Create Database.
Type in "eq" as the database name (without the quotes) and click Create...

since eqw doesnt work anymore...

2 different 'patchme' method doesnt work for me..

one method was using from start -> run -> C:\program files\everquest\eqgame.exe patchme ... and it says something like 'window cannot find...
