I fixed my problem with 1017 by changing my eqhost loginserver from 192.168.0.1 to my actual ip address 153.32.44.124
just a suggestion. not sure if this would be the same as 127.0.0.1

when i used the internal ip in my eqhost i could still login to the server select but got the 1017 when i tried to log into the server.
