If you want to see something neet, walk into the zone a bit and fight some stuff, come back and pets no longer appear there. It seems the server knows where the pets are, but the client doesn't. I think walking away and coming back fixxes it is because the server only sends you info on mobs a certain distance from you so once you leave that distance of the pets and come back and refreshes and actually shows no pets there.
