Do you think the mouse is frozen or the game itself? Can you use the keyboard to get passed the Eula screen? I can log in to the servers without using my mouse, but that still wont help you much once ingame because you need the mouse to open doors. As for targetting mobs the tilde (`) key will target the nearest mob. Not sure what the problem is because mice are plug and play and don't require drivers to work. Since the forums here didnt help, maybe try searching the Everquest forums and see if anyone else has had the same problem while patching to the live servers. Maybe they can give you some insight on what to do.
