*nod*, the client knows too much about some things.
There is a text file in some versions of the game that contains skill caps. It is
possible that changing that might convince your copy of the game to allow your bard to have the backstab skill.
I don't remember the name of the file, nor do I know if titanium has a copy of it, nor do I know if changing it will make a difference.... Lots of help I am, eh?
