To simplify, most compilations generate 3 key files:
EMuShareMem.dll
World.exe
Zone.exe

If you have a running emulator on Windows, all you really need are these 3 files overwriting the old ones (minilogin.exe never changes, and eqlaunch.exe rarely if ever as well).

On occasion, the *.conf files change, but not too often - and usually mentioned in each packages changelog.txt. If they do change, replace your old ones with the new ones (providing you didn't edit them for some reason).

Lastly, DB changes - Again, noted clearly in the changelog.txt. Apply new changes, or re-source from the peq_db SVN (HOWTO found by searching this forum).

If you are keeping up with current code, you might also grab the Quest scripts from the SVN as well, plus the Quest Fixes posted on this and the PEQ forums.

Hope that helps.
