Racing to get all my edits and more content in before I get a few hours sleep for another 14 hour work shift tonight lol. I always cant sleep cause EQEmu is always on my mind, what to add next, what to fix, etc.

Anyways, confirmed birdbath in 'object' table, and got one succesfully working in cshome.

I put a lore hp aug into an armor peice, then put that item with the lore aug already in the item into the bird bath again, but said I couldn't loot a lore item that I already possed. There was no cancel option, and when the bird bath is closed, your item is lost. So now I understand better what you mean about that. Thanks so much for the heads up on that.

Also, I have a version of MQ2 that someone gave me, that I find useful for GM'ing purposes and also knowing what players are capable of doing with it helps me combat against it.

Getting a bit off topic from this thread, but still has to do with augs. I put an anger III aug in weapon, but I couldn't attack anymore. Auto attack just stays off. Lots of trials and errors to see wtf is going on. So I did an /unload to remove MQ2 from client, and then I could attack again. Finally started removing plugins 1 at a time to find out if that was the case, and it was. Any player with an Anger Aug in their weapon that has MQ2combat plugin loaded wont be able to attack. I almost think this is funny, and a way of anti-MQ if it prevents users from using MQ + attacking. Users will probably figure it out though and bypass that idea.

On another note, I am still running binaries/windows version, and dont have anti MQ detection up yet. For our newest expansion with DoDh gear, we've made bosses the same level as trash mobs, and given the bosses a first name same as a random trash mob with last name as the correct real name of the boss, so that when players use MQ2 to see NPC's on the map, everything is same con color (same level) and all trash mob names. The ONLY way for someone to find bosses now is to physically use ghost form and walk around the zone looking for a boss by last name + race model.

Also having like 15 bosses in zone, all with place holders, and about 33% chance to spawn named boss, players can only find about 5 bosses at a time, making them farm more of the whole zone instead of just warping to the bosses.

Future possible idea of anti MQ2 warping to a boss would to have trash mobs do like 1% chance of spawning a boss after the trash is killed. But having any trash spawn any boss would be bad idea, cause users would just farm 1 solo trash mob, unless we make respawn timer longer to make them bored enough to move around. Also if we put it on a select few trash, they wont know which trash, or what chance, that bosses spawn, making them just farm all the trash.

Next expansion we're thinking about using quest 'signals' similar to fearplane where you gotta kill all the trash before killing a boss, or else the boss will 'signal' to all the npc's in the zone to assist when aggroed, basically forcing players to clear all trash before killing a boss to prevent a train. Then users cant just warp to a boss. Oh ya, trash would be on a 24 hour respawn giving a guild time to clear the zone etc.

These are just ideas about anti MQ without having the code in yet.
