GMs train you higher than they should
I noticed that a mage GM in Qeynos trained me higher than he should have in a skill. He says something about me knowing all that he can teach me, but he still adds a point to the ability and subtracts a point from my training points.
Sounds like a generic problem but if you need the actual NPC I can retest this sometime.
