The schema for mailkey that PEQ uses is:
`mailkey` CHAR(16) NOT NULL default '0',
The key should get auto-assigned sometime after character creation. I'm not sure when, Derision would have to tell you that. The default 0 should at least allow you in-game, and the key will probably be assigned when you get the mail server up and running.
