Hello all. I'm just starting out with eqemu. I've played a little EQ and EQOA (on PS2) before and I have a question. Are we supposed to be able to interact with NPCs? Do they have dialog in general.

For Example, in Freeport there is an exterminator. And there are rodents running around all over so I figure this is for a hunt and gather quest. I am able to turn in rat whiskers to the exterminator and I get money and XP. My question is: Does the exterminator (or any NPC) have any dialog along the lines of "I need you to do this quest thing..." to give instructions to the player.

I left click an NPC and it says to consider him. I consider him and that's about the extent of it. If it's a merchant I get a merchant window, but is there supposed to be any other dialog coming from these NPCs? Am I doing something wrong?
