I have 2 chars , grouped, speaking back and forth in Goblin. Char One advanced his skill to 50 at the trainer. The second started at 0. As Char one chatted, I got language skillups on the 2nd char but the Goblin skill did not show the increase in the skills window until I zoned the 2nd character.
I continued until I was not getting skillups on the 2nd when the 2nd chars skill exceeded the 1st char. I began to have the 2nd speak, no skill ups occurred on the first until after I zoned the 2nd then zoned back and then got 2 skill ups, as the 2nd spoke , on the 1st char.

Tedious.
