To access your bios you usually press a certain key after your motherboard completes its post check. Unfortunately the key that needs to be pressed at that specific time can vary by motherboard manufacturer it is usually the delete key but it can also be any one of the Function keys as well. F1, F2 and F3 seem to be the more common alternatives to using the delete key. When you first turn your computer you should either hear a beep or see a screen telling you to press some key to enter setup or your could get both. When this occurs you need to press either delete or one of the function keys. Doing so fast enough will allow you to enter your bios.
Having white land is usually a result of outdated or incompatible gpu drivers or an outdated gpu. Wait till you have solved the white land issue before attempting to solve the flickering mouse issue as the two are probably related.
