I'm running windows xp professional. When I run EQW it gives an error eading "EverQuest requires DirectX 6.0 or higher to run. You can install DX6 from your EverQuest CD or download it from
www.microsoft.com". I reinstalled DirectX 8.1, and it still gives me the error. Ive also tried running the patchme method, but I cant even get that off the ground. Any ideas?
