I tested it and it has to do with the FVNoDrop setting. If I enable FVNodrop and set it to 2 it will crash everytime when interacting with anything in inventory (includes equipped items)... When you log back in the item you interacted with has vanished..
It doesn't seem to matter if the item is no drop or not. It will still crash.
