Thanks. I got it working on a LAN. I tried enabling mercs using the following (
http://wiki.eqemulator.org/p?Enabling_Mercenaries) but to no avail. I found another thread dealing with this, but it didn't fix my problem. I can right click the merc vendors, but it just "cons" them.
I also went into the DB and set the rules for mercs- Mercs:AllowMercs = true... there were a few records with this that I set to true. I restarted the server and it still didn't work.
Was there something I missed during compilation?
