I've spent about 4 years making a new client that runs on EQ Emulator. It uses a slightly modified server (so that I can support a classless system), with only about 40 or so lines of code that is different from what is in the master branch. I'm using the same PEQ database for content creation, adding my own data to support a new game called Serdika. I still have lots of work left, but here is a first look:
