In this thread i posted that i have a firewall/proxy and the log from the proxy states this :
EQEmuPatcher v1 N 2003-03-06 14:24:52 patchdata.foreverhacking.net - 80 180 284 - http TCP GET
http://patchdata.foreverhacking.net/patch.dat
So.. For all that i know, the patch.dat the patcher is trying to download is coming from the host : patchdata.foreverhacking.net . And the host patchdata.foreverhacking.net is non excistant.
If you are running a "virtual" server, it still needs to have a dns record, at least when it is set up as this.. Now.. if it was eg.
www.foreverhacking.net/patchdata/patch.dat you can see how the difference is? right? The "maindomain/virtualserver" is way different from the "host.maindomain".
I can of course agree to that my system is fuxed up.. no problem

Ie. my system does not work wery well with your system

At least i got a confirmation that it DO work
