When I worked at Bellsouth Internet Services and their side project, Internet Call Waiting, I had a 6:15 time limit. My average was 4:45.

Our high-level tech support had 12 minutes. It's amazing how much you can get done in 4 minutes when you hear the same problems every day, 30 times a day.

Our registration calls had 15 minutes.
