I dont recommend using the EMU if you've never played the Original EQ.
You'll be disappointed about the game itself, even though the original game on the Verant servers was quite good.
The EMU doesnt have much features and most of them dont really work well.
You'll be in an empty world with nothing to do and no clue what you could do in future versions of the EMU, because you do not know what the original EQ was like.
Either wait on a EMU version that is almost like original EQ (I doubt that the EMU ever will be anywhere near the Original game though), play the real EQ, or dont play it at all hehe
