I've been using this video card for a while now (2 years?) with no problems. I've also played a fair share of Morrowind and Neverwinter on it
Does your video card have its own fan? Is it functioning properly?
Also, are you sure it is the video card? Try to isolate the problem, which can be hard if it's hard to reproduce.
