You still patched to GoD. Just because you didnt download the actual expansion data didnt mean they didnt give you general files EVERYONE needed for everyone to beable to use the game both with and without GoD.
I havent patched to 2/18 but it sounds like it rebroke the server again.
Dont EVER patch unless you are told to. Do so at your own peril and just wait for the servers to catch up with EQLive.
