I posted this over at ProjectEQ (
www.projecteq.com). It applies to the MWnpcmov_053_alpha3 database. I went through the list of items that merchants sell (by hand
) which can also be looted from creatures, and made note of all the ones that probably shouldn't be for sale from npc merchants. There's a sql statement put together for already to show all the ones I'm sure of, and just some lists of the item numbers I'm not so sure of. Check it out here:

This only applies to 1158/5666 items for sale (the other 4500+ items aren't in any loot tables).
