How do you know these 'viruses' and registry theft programs came with Dev-C++ ?
I use Dev-C++ and can attest that what you are saying is false, having scanned my system with an up-to-date virus scanner and Spybot and AdAware. I also read the Dev-C++ forums and am sure this would have been mentioned there if what you claim is true.
Now, if you downloaded Dev-C++ from a p2p file sharing network or some random web site, then there is a chance your copy may have been 'doctored', but that is true of anything you download. If you download from the official site (
www.bloodshed.net), or any of the official mirrors you will be fine.
It annoys me that you should slur the name of a great program with what I am sure are baseless claims.
