The beginning of your post did NOT start with a warning that we should just "go away" - unless I missed something, but you did start with a "Please forgive me..."
Just to clear things up, so that you understand where I am coming from...
1) I do NOT have a problem with any server that is not specifically legit. My server is currently legit - mostly for reasons of ironing out bugs, but I do plan to have a custom-legit after most issues are ironed out. The project is Open Source, therefore whoever has an available system to run EQEmu can do whatever he/she wants.
Seasoned to personal taste, and all that...
2) My personal problem was NOT that you requested another non-legit server. I couldn't really care what you requested or whether or not there were more non-legit servers or whether EVERY server running EQEmu is non-legit. Doesn't matter to me as I will do my own thing and I fully expect others to follow whatever they want to do.
3) I responded to this thread specifically because I found your "request" rather poorly formed and insulting. If that was not your intent, then perhaps you should clarify your wording a bit. Comments like:

come off VERY badly and will generate negative responses. After reading several of the newer threads, there are many people looking for help in creating just what you are looking for. If you are unable (due to time, or whatever) to create your own server, then perhaps you might contact them and offer what assistance you can - this would likely grant you GM access and some control over the server itself.
Again, to clarify quite simply: I do not have a problem with your request or with non-legit servers in general. You are quite correct - makes absolutely NO difference to me whatsoever. Calling others lazy, however, for something that you haven't done (for whatever reason) wasn't called for, IMHO.
Anyway, I hope you find what you are looking for. Who knows, once I have my server bugs ironed out and start making it custom-legit, perhaps I'll make it public - and maybe I might see you there someday.
