I think Brian needs to go back and read one of his several initial posts before criticizing anyone else here. A much better way to have handled his problem would have been the following:
1. Search the forums for people complaining about similar problems, both by using the search function at the top and reading recent posts in the general support forum. (If this would have been done and the problem is because of the May 20 patch he would have realized what his problem was from the beginning.)
2. If that wasn't his problem and he then decided to post, instead of posting with an attitude like someone owes him something, he should have instead posted asking for help. (instead of demanding) In the message take time to detail exactly what was happening and what had been tried. In this post it should have been stated that the other methods outlined in the forums for fixing problems didn't work.
It's hard for people to help or even want to help when people come off like this post started. As rocketdogg stated, this is a free project. If it don't work, it don't work. It's not like you are out anything so be kind and patient when you post for support and one of the users, devs, or server ops will assist you as soon as possible. Being an opensource project, nobody is getting paid to support folks here but with courtesy, I've found the support is better than most places where people are paid to support you.
I'd also like to express the sentiment of thanks to all the devs, mods, and world builders who have made this project possible. No matter how many people are ungracious to your efforts, know that you have a lot of folks who are very appreciative!
