Just my 2 copper. I was telling me so...
For times now, Wiz/Melwin tries to get more and more control and override this project for their own in many way : discredit about members, discredit about others' projects ...
What I may ask is :
- Wiz did almost nothing for EQemu . Only for WR or what he planned ?
- Melwin wasn't, isn't and will never be a (good) Public Relation guy
- WR is loosing money about its hosting ... next month every thing would be ok ?
- why, every times a dev or an important member of this project leaves, bullshits appear ?
It appears to me that the dumbass are not who we think of at first ?
- Hogie left because his receive bad traitment about receiving most of the donations.... he was doing all the hosting part ... there was no problem about hosting, etc for this project and some third projects ...
- others left because of bad treatment. Cause of this bad treatment ? they disagreed some of the "current" dev (understand, by those days)
- others left because they asked several times to get rid of dumbassness a certain way but due to their age in this project, they were throught out
All this to say, don't say Amen to what you see or what people tell you... Just grab all advice, all informations from both sides and you will be largely surprised.
EQemu is not dead. What is dead is the first day spirit :
offer a new way to play EQ and an alternative to SOE.
Today, and what comes first in mind when most of you talk about EQ is : WR ...
Wiz is a dev .... the tag says so ... I'm not really sure for the rest
Melwin (WR member) as public relation for EQ ? hmmm ....
Former EQ devteam members leaving more and more and tons of reasons (true or false, I don't really care ... for now) .... hmmm ....
