Sry all, I just want this server to be good. I don't know, whenever I do something I "OverDo" it if you know what I mean. I am writing Code and Lore in-class on my palm pilot, that is how bad it is right now, hehe. I just wanted to make a server that people would enjoy and that you all would play on =(. That is all I have ever wanted to do.
When I was first a GM, I worked long and hard on zones so that people would enjoy them, then I worked long and hard on PERL. That 12000 line PERL code was for a buffing NPC. It also had a casino in it. 54 Different Buffs. The price raised for every 10 levels you gained as well, and all the prices varied depending on what spell you wanted. I worked for 2 weeks on that code, trying to make it all sound perfect. Different things he said, exc.

People have called me an "over-achiever." Maybe I should wake up and smell the coffee. I haven't done it yet, I don't know if I ever will. I just wanted people to really like this server =(. When I thought up the storyline, I "Knew" it would make a good server. I just want you all to have a fun and good time =(. I am being constantly criticized, hated, insulted, and so on, for trying to give you guys something. I am not trying to say, "Hey look, I can make a cool server, so I am better than everyone!"
Also, I am trying to make the work fun for the staff. Personally, I like writing code, making zones, doing all of that stuff. I like working my butt off. I don't know about the rest of you. One of the reasons I took C++ was so that I could make this server... One of the reasons I studied PERL for hours was so that I could do it, one of the reasons for the commands.
I just want to make something nice for you all. Some of you are now saying I am going to be wasting my life, fine, let me waste my life. My life is game programming, that is it, as well as school, for the time being. That is my whole life. I am in School Clubs right now, only so I can visit other country's and get free food, as well as do some programming, aka, FBLA. My joy is teaching other people how to do things, knowing that other people are having fun from my work, and trying to make things easier for others.
Right now I am miserable and am working less and less on The Path of Chaos Server, because I am not having fun creating it, which is very odd. Every 5 minutes, I need to go on here and talk with people, and try to explain things, otherwise, I start losing staff, exc.

I just want to make this the best server possible for you. If you hate the lore, which is what the server will be based off of. If you hate all the stuff I am doing with it, and I mean a mass amount of people, then I will stop the project. What is the point of doing something and spending lots of money from my own pocket if no one will enjoy the work my staff and I put forth =(.

I know how much work it is, and so does all my staff. I told them before they joined the staff how much it would be. They accepted it and came. The goal here is not to just become the best server in the world, or crush other server's, the goal here is to make you all happy, and have fun. It isn't to make loads of money, it isn't to make you all made, not to show-off, just to make it so you guys can have fun and get away from the real world once and awhile.

I don't consider this wasting my life. I am learning too. I really have no idea how to make a login-server, I never said I did know how, but I am learning all of the Eqemu code right now. I didn't even know what PERL was 1 month ago, but now I am a pro at it. I don't ask you guys questions that often because I usually figure things out on my own. Questions are my last resort. My dad is probably going to help me with login-server, exc. I also am planning to get eqclient still because it will make the experience of the server better. Also, EQ can't really do anything because I am not making a profit off of it. The copyright law says you are distributing it and such. I am not distributing it.

I just really need support right now, and I am getting 0, I am in the negatives now. If you guys hate the entire idea, I will end the project, just like that. I just want you all to have a good time, get away from the ordinary EverQuest and enter a whole new world. New Classes, new races (once I figure that part out), excetra. I am willing to do it all for you guys, because knowing people appreciate and enjoy my work is the greatest thing anyone can give me. My staff are excited because of a lot of the things I want to do, and that is the only thing supporting me, or I would have disbanded and ended the entire project awhile back. All I am getting is negative feedback, unless it is from the staff.

Think about this guys. Ask around. If the players of EQEmu dont want this server, then I don't need to waste my time. If they do, then no one is wasting there time for nothing, we know people will enjoy our work.
