Well, I meant that I like free-form RPGs rather than linear and scripted ones, and all RPGs like that recently seem to have been MMORPGs

Daggerfall is a really old game now (1996 I think) it had a HUGE (thousands of towns and cities) freeform world with an enormous amount of replayability. However it eventually got boring and repetitive, as the randomly-generated world meant that most of the towns were identical and the dungeons were extremely tedious and easy to get lost in!
The sequel is Morrowind which has just been released (last week) and seems to be really good from everything I've heard about it, hopefully I will be buying it next week.
Morrowind's world is pre-created like EQ (though it has a world editor/creator shipped with the game) rather than random, but since there are so many character choices, quests and things to do it should be at least as replayable as Daggerfall.
