Cant Login to Server

I did everything on the howto forum, patched EQ live, then changed host and did shortcut thing.
I login to server select, choose server, get to character select screen, and then try to login from there.
It takes me to the black "You have been disconnected" screen repeatedly. Any help is appreciated.
