In need of EQ lore

As a LOTS of peoples, we are currently develloping and EQEmu server, but we dont want run a copy of EQLive server, we want players to see Norrath under a different point of view.

The story take place betwen Everquest PC story and Everquest Online Adventure PS2. The ogre/dwarven war is intensive in Faydewer, Gnomes are escaping Dark-Elf slavery and starting to build akanon helped by Elves who seek a new ally, Trolls are trying to escape the lands of Kunark, Trakanon is still alive and recruiting heroes, ... ...

What we need atm is EQ Lore, background story to help us develop new zones, story, to make Norrath's world coherent.

I seem to have hit a snag while reading

in there it says that the elves warred and yadee yadee and the wild elves killed the emperor, but according to previous lore i have read, inny corrupted the
king and queen slowly making them evil, not a war between the 3 races.

Can someone explain?

EDIT: I dont know if SoE made this mistake and changed it from origional lore, but it also states:

yet, when SoE intruduced the Froglok as a playable race, they said they follow Mithaniel Marr.

What do you expect from SOE? :lol: They changed their stories a while into the game. Also, the froglok lords were normal old crappy froglok textures and body shape, however Mith Marr granted them the power to take over the trolls. Either that, or once again SOE cant keep their shit straight.

actualy storys about trakanon were durring beta but i think they tossed em out, and if i remember right when inny corrupted the king and queen they still ooked the same, when they moved to faydwer High elven rebels and wild elves(wood elfs) killes the king and restablished on the evil city. I also think that froglok oceanlord thing was beta stylze to. Frogloks were born when the thules captured Mithaniel and tortued him but thule's son help mithaniel(spell check heh) and mithaniel cryed and when his tears hit the swamps of norrath forglok tadpoles were born. and i also believe trols from kunark was beta too >.<.

Aye, lots of GOOD EQ background was beta, you to me, GOOD EQ was beta /cry. There are no really EQ Background/Story about actual EQ World ... as we are old eq players and we like coherent world with a lots of background, we have choose to take a lots of stories from EQ Beta that wont confuse players with actual EQLive world.

Accually the trak one has me interested since GoD came out and the latest story lines makes ya wonder if the top dog is Trak's Chosen. Gotta be something on that level atleast. How else can they make a mob thats tougher to kill then the Gods. I'll have to wait and see watch these Rasp storys unfold
