Missing Servers?

After the downtime of the 27th, I logged in this morning on the 28th, and alot of the servers arent on the server list anymore.. My prefered server Ez(linux) 4xp server by Hunter Is no longer available.. I am really sad about this! Can someone tell me if it is jst down right now or if there is some kinda bug, and will it be fixed? Will I ever get to play on the ez server again? Please respond!

That is Hunter's website for his server. I am sure it will be back up when he notices it is down and has a chance to restore it. He stays very busy with work during the week (about 6 days a week), so it sometimes might take a bit for him to get a chance to do it.

He just moved his server to a Linux build a couple of days ago, and there is no way he is shutting it down for good after all that work lol.

Just read his forums and post there if you have questions.

When the login server is down for an extended amount of time like it was yesterday, it causes many servers to stop trying to connect to the login server. I think they just fail X amount of times and then give up on trying to reconnect. So, most server have to be restarted in order to get them to show up on the server list again. I had to restart mine to get it back on there.

Thanks, Sorry to be so frantic, I really love what Hunter has done with his server. It is my #1 favorite and I am pretty new to EQemu so I am not used to the way it all works. So, this is my first downtime cherry pop you can say lol! Thanks again!
