Default Time out.

I've read the setup guide over and over and still seem to get the Timed Out error. I've seen other people have this problem and is normally corrected in the eqhost file...so I think that's the root of my problem. What are these carriage returns and how do I get rid of them? (Yes I am a total noob to coding or even notepad). Thanks for any help you can share. P.S. I have the actual titanium cd's, I'm not patched to live, [LoginServer]Host=eqemulator.net:5998 is in my eqhost file.

If your file is changing, then you have your shortcut set to the wrong file and are missing the patchme statement. Either that or maybe you are playing on some private server or something.

"C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

That's the link from the shortcut. This is from 2004 http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/arc...p/t-16379.html

Maybe I'm in a time rift of some sort?

I do have something you can try, I made this awhile ago and it helped my brother when he had this problem. Download THIS and place it in your EQ directory and make a shortcut from it. This way you wont have to mess with the host or the patchme it will do it for you.

Let me know if this helps you !!

If you follow that, you shouldn't have to do anything else.

Leslamarch! That seemed to work. I'm just an idiot who can't edit a notepad correctly I suppose heh. Thanks for all the help, Trev and Les!
