Mouse/Keyboard locked at character select? Easy fix here.

Please note, this is only with WinXP

After I got EQEMu all set on my system I was having a problem once I got to the character select screen. The mouse and keyboard would lock up. Not truly lock up, but I could not use them on the character select screen. I was having the same problem with EQlive, but with EQlive I was able to ctrl+alt+del to the desktop, bring the EQ window back up and everything was fine. When I do that with EQEMu it just closes the program entirely.

To fix the problem: Go to the folder that you have your EQEMu EQ files in and right-click on eqgame.exe. Click on properties. Click on the compatibility tab. Check the box in compatibility mode then change the compatibility to windows98/windowsME. Apply, save and the problem is fixed.

I don't know if anyone else also has this problem, but it took me a week to solve it so I thought that I would save some people some time.
