I *think* (meaning I'm not sure) it's because there are two "EQEmu Release" folders on CVS. One named "EQEmu Release" and the other "EQEMu Release" (notice the capital 'M').
*nix doesn't have a problem with this, but stupid windows gets confused

In conclusion: There's nothing you can do. Only a dev with CVS write access can delete the old folder.

Actually, we can't delete the old folder.. I need to get CVS support services to do that.

Another thing on my todo list..

Can you delete all the files in the folder so people don't get confused?

Look here http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/eqemu/

Or just do your cvs update and look at the dates on the files.
