I'm having issues getting to eqlogin1. Tells me bas username/password, yet I got on to eqlogin3 just fine. I'll keep trying stuff, but maybe someone here has an idea.

Alright, Still very confused from a myriad of posts and reply's of what to do to be able to log in to Servers. This is the deal for me, i put my password in, i get into the server selection, i click the requested server and, boom, Error 1017 i believe? " Seeing this message means you have a lose of connectivity and may need to Re-Update the Patch, This is usually temporaly" -- Ironic since its been like that for days... Anyone this is my Eqhost.txt

[Registration Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemulator.net:5997"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemulator.net:5997"
}

Any suggestions on changes? Feed me with all the information you can about my situation and what exactly both of my eqhost.ext's should look like. Thanks.

yes first of all, put all the login servers in your eqhost.txt file so you arent affected if one of them goes down. See www.eqemulator.net/main.php for details. Next if you using the most up-to-date everquest client (IE you patched using the official EQ patcher and you just changed your eqhost.txt file), you will have to play on servers that are 5.3DR2 or higher, the other servers on the list are running old code that will not work with the latest everquest client.
