Default Server Up/Down on website?

I was wondering, anyone know how to put a lil box on your server website to say when your server is up or down and say how many people are on it? kind of like the one on http://eqemulator.net/

a search on these boards... k :p searching by keyword brings up about 500 other posts that have nothing to do with your topic but have the same word.. no thx anyway back to trying to get this to work
