Default Perl Enabled 0.7.0 Build?

Is there one of these? I have everything working on the 0.7.0-833 build except for the quests. I checked the zone and world windows to find that it never mentions Perl, so I assume that it's simply just not compiled in with the official release.

Any help would be appreciated. I have blank command.pl and plugin.pl files.

Also, what is the worldui.pl file???

worldui.pl is a perl file, I'm assuming... unless something else uses the .pl extension.

If you want a perl build, I suggest compiling it yourself.

I have 0.7.0-833 that I DLed from sesmar's sight and the quest work just fine with his build. The ONLY problem that i have with his builds is trying to zone into eastwaste zone.exe crashes. Zone don't crash with the releases on this site so if perl is not included with the ones from this sight try sesmar's

Per the 6.5 release notes, 6.5 and all future versions are perl enabled.

http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...=Dev065Release

"One note with this release: Perl is no longer optional, as if anybody really ran a server without quests anyhow. In theory, world could still be built without perl, but it would lose the HTTP inteface, and hence the ability to use most of the new features."

All quests worked fine for me after 7.0 install.
