Default SoD and EQemu

From what I have read I have seen not to patch to "eqlive", i'm pretty sure that means when you start up eq and download everything, but looking at a SoD setup it actually telsl me to patch some expansions. If I can't play eqemu but I can play SoD, i won't make the commitment... Can i go ahead with it or can I not? I'm just not 100% sure and I don't want to screw anything up.

Do this, make a copy of your game install directory (like I do, just in case I accidentally mess things up) and you'll have a rollback 'oh crap I messed up' version to fall back too. It only takes like 4.63 gigs.

Then if you mess things up, you can wipe the messed up version and copy in the virgin, clean install.
