Default Getting two instances of EQ to run on seperate cores

Hi folks, quick question for you.

I've tried looking, but I might be missing it but I just recently built a new computer that runs a dual core AMD. I've successfully applied the fix for dual core using GnS Affinity. However, what I'd love to be able to do is to run two instances of EQ, yes so I can dual box, but have each individual instance run on the two seperate cores available, to help with performance.

Is there any way of doing this, or is such an option simply not possible?

Well, thanks for any and all help.

Run each with no core-fix at all, and the load should balance itself out naturally.

Alright, but wouldn't that then cause the dual core issue with the insane game speeds? Or does the fact that my computer is processing the two instances negate that issue?

Exactly. You effectively bog down your processor enough that each instance runs at normal speed. I run Vista on a laptop with a dual-core processor, and only have to set affinity if I'm only playing one account. If I play two or three, I don't have to take any extra steps and it fixes itself.

Hmm, I tried it and under normal circumstances, both instances for me had the overspeed issue. However, I was then able to go in with GnS affinity and effectively set each instance of eqgame to seperate cores. So I guess in a way my problem is solved. Thank you very much for the help.
